Carolina Pina is a partner in the Intellectual Property Department and co-head of the Telecommunications & Media practice area at Garrigues, where she has pursued her professional career following her time at several law firms in London, where she specialized in intellectual property. Carolina is also a renowned expert in image and media rights-related issues.
Carolina is a regular speaker at national and international seminars and conferences, including most notably the New York Bar Annual Conference on Image Rights and the International Trade Mark Association Annual Meeting on Ambush Marketing in San Diego. She is also a member of the editorial board of Revista Aranzadi de Derecho de Deporte y Entretenimiento.
She teaches on the Centro de Estudios Garrigues Master’s Degree in Sports Law, on the Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property at Alicante and on the Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Carolina also collaborates with other institutions such as the Spanish Professional Football League, the Spanish Digital Economy Association (ADIGITAL), and is a member of the Foundation for Research in Law and Business (FIDE).
