Javier Coronado is Economic Director (Counsel) at the competition, regulation and intellectual property practice in Lima. His fields of specialization are antitrust analysis, mergers and acquisitions, regulation of public utilities, intellectual property and economic expert advice in litigation.
He has extensive experience in the public sector and private practice, being appointed CEO and Chief Economist at Indecopi, Member of the Tribunal of the Transport Regulator, Viceminister of Communications and economist at regulatory agencies.
In private practice he has a large and solid experience advising clients in antitrust, regulation and intellectual property, being part of the teams at NERA Economic Consulting and Charlers Rivers Associates International in Spain.
He lectures in the Master of Economics and Master of Regulation at PUCP and the Master of Administrative Law and Regulation at UDEP where he is also a Director of the Data Science Programme in partership with the Barcelona GSE.
He is a member pf the Peruvian Association of Economists (APE).
