Eloy Castañer is a Partner of the Madrid Labor and Employment Law Practice at Garrigues, where he has pursued his professional career since 2001.

He specializes in labor, employment and social security law, above all in strategic and particularly complex issues in the field of labor law and human resources, at both domestic companies and multinationals across a range of industries (technology and consulting firms, industrial enterprises, financial institutions, energy companies, airlines, consumer and distribution companies, among others).

He has a wealth of experience and is recognized for his expertise in litigation in the labor jurisdiction and before judicial review bodies, as well as in advising companies generally on all labor and social security matters affecting them. He offers particular added value both in the provision of recurring advice and in his leadership of labor restructuring processes and collective procedures of all kinds, such as collective layoffs, processes to hold contracts in abeyance and reduce working hours, collective modifications to working conditions, etc.

He lecturers at prestigious universities and institutions and is a regular speaker at noteworthy forums specializing in labor law matters.

He has authored numerous works and articles in both specialist journals and in domestic and international newspapers and is recognized as a leading Spanish lawyer by prestigious publications (Best Lawyers in Spain, etc.).
