She specializes in matters related to trade and consumer goods, including e-commerce, in various industries (fashion, food, services etc.) and on various topics (implementation and start-up of all types of commercial establishments, regulatory requirements for the sale of all kinds of products, promotional sales, commercial practices, post-sale services, penalty proceedings, etc.). She is also highly specialized in product compliance and market surveillance.
Amalia is a qualified advisor on matters related to contracts with public sector entities. In particular she has experience in the structuring of public-private partnership models in various sectors, in particular health and transport. In this area she has provided assistance to public authorities for the purposes of analyzing their legal capacity to acquire debt, the alternatives for the execution of infrastructure with budget separation and assistance during tender processes. Her participation in preparing numerous special administrative terms of tender is also worthy of note. In the field of public contracts, she also provides advice to the private sector in matters related to the execution, modification, assignment and termination of all types of public sector contracts, including assistance in the preparation of special appeals in connection with public contracts.
Throughout her long professional career, Amalia has participated in many legal audits, providing advice on all kinds of administrative and regulatory matters in numerous M&A and restructuring transactions performed by Spanish companies in the last few years.
She has also collaborated in the preparation of all kinds of reports and expert opinions, including those of a constitutional nature, regarding the most diverse matters and in a variety of sectors (public property, transport and logistics, health, waste, etc.).
She also provides advice to the public and private sectors on zoning matters and planning, in particular in relation to zoning enforcement (identification of the acts requiring a license or solemn declaration, rules on transfer of licenses, the relationship between municipal licenses and other industry authorizations, especially the environment and trade, etc.).
She has also provided advisory services in the organization of major sports events and in view of her knowledge on the subject on various aspects of the legal regime applicable to the Spanish historical heritage.
Furthermore, Amalia is an expert adviser in relation to all types of administrative procedures and appeals, especially in the area of administrative penalty proceedings. She also has vast experience in providing legal assistance to companies on all types of judicial review proceedings, including claims for financial liability.

She also teaches at several universities and institutions such as Centro de Estudios Garrigues, Universidad CEU-San Pablo and ICADE. Lecturer on the Master’s Degree in Labor Law Counseling, on the Executive Master’s Degree in Business Law, in collaboration with Harvard Law School, and on the Executive Master’s Degree in Fashion&Law, all organized by Centro de Estudios Garrigues.
