Power auction in Colombia: these are the general terms and conditions to be met by sellers and purchasers

The Colombian Mining and Energy Planning Unit (UPME) has set out the general terms and conditions to be met by sellers and purchasers taking part in the first auction of long-term electricity contracts that allows for the participation of non-conventional technologies. The UPME is currently in the process of reviewing the definitive terms of participation and the PPA under auction and these documents will be published on November 1, 2018.

Set out below are details of the legal, financial and technical requirements to be taken into account.
