The Garrigues Partners’ Meeting approves the appointment of fifteen new equity partners
The Garrigues Partners’ Meeting has approved the appointment of fifteen new equity partners, taking the total to 300. Of the fifteen, twelve are based in Spain, with the remaining three based in Brussels, Bogota and Lima. The twelve Spanish partners come from Madrid (5), Bilbao (2), Barcelona (2), Valencia (2) and Murcia (1).
These appointments truly reflect Garrigues’ commitment as a multinational firm (it is now present in 13 countries) and a multi-local firm (18 offices in Spain), something which sets it apart from the rest. Another of Garrigues’ hallmarks is its shared culture across all offices, with the aim of offering clients the same quality of service, wherever they may be.
The Garrigues Partners’ Meeting had the opportunity to review the challenges faced by the firm in maintaining its leading position, continuing to deliver maximum added value to clients and consolidating its internationalization. These notably include the way in which new generations have changed the rules and made it more difficult to attract and retain talent; the transformation of the technological environment and how this is reflected within the firm and as regards client needs; and the challenges of an increasingly mature and increasingly uncertain market, among others.
