IBA and ICCA create joint task force on Data Protection in international arbitration
The International Council for Commercial Arbitration and the International Bar Association have created a joint task force to produce a guide to data protection issues in international arbitration.
The task force will publish a draft guide in March 2019 for public comment on the ICCA and IBA websites.
SIAC releases case load statistics
The Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) has recently released its caseload statistics for 2018, showing that the number of new cases handled by SIAC exceeded 400 for the second year running, albeit dropping from 452 in 2017 to 402 last year.
