Garrigues brings on board Juan Grangel as Labor and Employment partner at the Zaragoza office

The Zaragoza office strengthens its team: Juan Grangel joins as partner to lead the Labor and Employment practice in Aragón. His appointment is slated to be ratified by the next partners’ meeting.
Juan Grangel has a strong professional background in employment law, labor compliance and combatting employment fraud, as a result of a lengthy career in both the public sector and in private practice.
Alongside his work as a labor and social security inspector in La Rioja and Madrid, his positions of responsibility in the public sector notably include Head of the Health and Safety Unit at the La Rioja Regional Division of the Labor and Social Security Inspectorate, and Team Head at the Subdirectorate-General for the Inspection of Social Security, the Undeclared Economy and Immigration. Between 2018 and 2020, he was Director of the National Anti-fraud Office, during which time he also formed part of the Management Board of the European Labor Authority and represented Spain on the European Platform against Undeclared Work.
A law graduate from the University of Zaragoza, this new Garrigues partner offers comprehensive advice on employment and social security law, combining solid technical expertise with a strategic vision oriented towards risk management and informed business decision‑making.
