FT honors Garrigues as the most innovative law firm of Continental Europe
Garrigues has received the award for the “Most Innovative Law Firm of Continental Europe’ in the ‘FT Innovative Lawyers Awards’ organized each year by the prestigious newspaper Financial Times and the specialized consultant RSG Consulting. The awards ceremony was held for the first time as a virtual gala, which accentuated the importance of the role of collaboration in a year marked by the COVID-19 public health crisis.

In the innovation report accompanying these awards, the Financial Times highlights two Garrigues projects. In the specific category of how firms have responded to COVID-19, the newspaper “highly commends” the capacity of the Garrigues Labor Department to serve its clients in the management of temporary layoff procedures (ERTE), thanks to its foresight and use of technology. In digital innovation and transformation, the Financial Times “commends” the [email protected] project, focused on automization, robotization and artificial intelligence. Eduardo Abad, the partner at the head of the Tax Department who leads [email protected], was selected as one of the ten most innovative European lawyers of the year.
