COVID-19: Spanish Customs Department publishes information note on controls on imports of personal protective equipment, masks and other medical supplies

The note clarifies the border control measures for personal protective equipment, masks and other medical supplies.
In view of the increase in imports of personal protective equipment, masks and other medical supplies as a result of the crisis brought about by COVID-19, on March 25, 2020 the Customs Department published Note NI GA 07/2020, in which it clarifies the functioning of what is known as the FARMIN control, which applies to medicinal products, raw materials, medical devices, cosmetic products and biocides.
The note also includes the document prepared by the World Customs Organization (available here) with the headings corresponding to medical supplies for COVID-19, which can help to process these imports.
