La nueva Ley de Protección al Informante. Novedades y obligaciones para las empresas

En el día de ayer, 21 de febrero, se ha publicado en el Boletín Oficial del Estado la ley 2/2023, de 20 de febrero, reguladora de la protección de las personas que informen sobre infracciones normativas y de lucha contra la corrupción, comúnmente conocida como Ley de Protección al Informante o, en su término anglosajón, “whistleblower”.
La nueva ley tiene un indudable impacto en las empresas de nuestro país ya que contiene novedosas obligaciones, así como importantes sanciones en caso de incumplimiento. Entre otros aspectos, la ley obliga a todas las empresas con 50 o más trabajadores a contar con un sistema interno de información (canal de denuncias), así como con un sistema de gestión y protección de los informantes, evitando represalias a los mismos.
En este foro tendremos el privilegio de contar con la exposición de D. Manuel Olmedo Palacios (Secretario general para la Innovación y Calidad del Servicio Público de Justicia), para posteriormente abordar la nueva ley desde un enfoque multidisciplinar, tanto jurídico como técnico.
