    Garrigues has been named the top firm of the year in Spain by Chambers Europe, in the awards ceremony held yesterday in Milan. The award is the result of research by the independent British publication Chambers & Partners for the annual edition of its prestigious European directory, in which the opinion of clients is crucial.

    Garrigues has won the award for the leading M&A firm in Iberia in 2022. This accolade is given each year by Mergermarket, one of the top specialized global M&A publications, recognizing the work of legal and financial advisers on the biggest deals of the year in Europe. This is the fourth time Garrigues has won the award.

    The annual Latin Finance Projects and Infrastructure Finance Awards recognize standout project and infrastructure transactions in Latin America, a field considered fundamental for the region’s economic advancement. Four project finance deals that Garrigues advised on, led from the Chile and Colombia offices, came top on this occasion.

The publication International Tax Review (ITR), which covers tax news from firms across the globe, has granted these awards in the context of the EMEA Tax Awards, held yesterday in London and attended by the most noteworthy European firms and lawyers in the tax field. 

  • FESBAL honors Garrigues with the 2020 Espiga de Oro award for Commitment

    The Spanish Federation of Food Banks (FESBAL) honored Garrigues with the 2020 Espiga de Oro award for Commitment at an event held at CaixaForum in Madrid, which was presided over by Luis Planas, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food. Garrigues’ executive chairman Fernando Vives collected the award from FESBAL President Pedro Llorca.
