Garrigues strengthens its team in Colombia and Spain with the hiring of two new female partners

Mónica Bolaños will form part of the Bogotá tax practice while Mireia del Pozo joins the Barcelona administrative and constitutional law practice. Both appointments, which will be submitted for approval to the next Partners’ Meeting, reflect the firm’s strategy of consolidating its position as a leading provider of business law advice.
New partners in charge for Catalonia, Aragón and the Balearic Islands
Garrigues has appointed Miriam Barrera and Óscar de Santiago as the new joint partners in charge for Catalonia, Aragón and the Balearic Islands. They replace Fernando Rey, who headed that region since 1998.
Rock & Law breaks its own record and raises more than 96,812 euros in its tenth edition
Last Thursday, more than a thousand people attended the tenth edition of Rock & Law, the legal community’s outreach concert, held for the third time in Barcelona (Sala Razzmatazz). The initiative raised more than 96,812 euros through the sale of tickets and contributions by sponsors, which will be donated to the Cuenta conmigo pediatric palliative care support project run by the Enriqueta Villavecchia Foundation. It is the highest amount raised in the history of Rock & Law in Spain.
