Renata Mendaña Navarro has been a partner in the Corporate/Commercial Law Department of J&A Garrigues, S.L.P. since September 2002, and has spent her entire professional career with the firm.
Renata has more than twenty-four years’ experience in practicing business law at Garrigues. She works in the areas of corporate and commercial law, and mergers & acquisitions, specializing in major M&A deals, corporate restructuring and leveraged buyouts, with particular expertise in insurance companies and in the retail and hotel real estate sectors.
Renata has been a member of the Madrid Bar Association since 1991.
She has been a lecturer on the Master’s Degree in Business Law at Centro de Estudios Garrigues (academic years 1996-97 and 1997-98) and on Corporate Governance as part of the Executive MBA at ESADE (academic year 2007-2008).
She currently lectures on the Master’s Degree in International Business Law offered by Centro de Estudios Garrigues and Universidad Antonio de Nebrija (since academic year 2013-2014) and on the course organized by Centro de Estudios Garrigues in collaboration with the Institute for Global Law and Policy at Harvard Law School as part of the International Business Law (Drafting International Contracts) program (since July 2012).
