Miguel Angel Castejón is the partner in charge of the Tax Department of the Alicante office of Garrigues, the firm where he has pursued his professional career following a stint at Arthur Andersen. He specializes in tax law, in particular in the areas of corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions and in advising financial institutions and construction firms.
Among other fields, he is an expert in family asset taxation, with extensive experience in supporting the family office in decision-making processes, in the international expansion of family firms, and in advising them on shareholder-company relations.
In addition, he provides recurring advice on accounting and tax closing processes, on tax due diligence reviews, and on international tax planning as well as refinancing processes.
Miguel is also a regular speaker at seminars and conferences held by the Firm, and he routinely collaborates with various specialist centers and institutions representing the Alicante business community (FUNDESEM, Universidad Miguel Hernandez de Elche, the Chamber of Commerce of Alicante, Orihuela and Alcoy, the Alicante Family Business Association, etc.).
He is a member of the Alicante Economists’ Association.
