Nicolas Santos Padín is the partner in charge of the Galicia offices since 2023.

He gives legal and tax advice to companies and, as legal and tax counsel, has participated in and coordinated many business restructuring transactions, company sale transactions, tax review or "due diligence" processes, and mergers and acquisitions in general.

He is also an expert in the provision of tax advice in respect of family estates and in the specific problems relating to family businesses.

Particular mention should be made of his expertise in the taxation of cooperatives, and of the fact that he has been advising entities in this sector for over 20 years.

In the area of ??tax procedures, he has a wealth of experience in tax audits.

He has given numerous courses and seminars on tax theory and practice and participated as speaker and lecturer in different master’s degree and postgraduate courses and conferences organized by various public and private entities such as  Escuela de Negocios Afundación or Universidad de Vigo.

He has been distinguished by the Best Lawyers publication as "Best Lawyer of the Year 2020", in his practice area.

Nicolás is a member of the Vigo Bar Association.

He is currently associate professor of Galicia Business School.
