José María Pérez is the partner in charge of the Tax Department at the Seville office of Garrigues, the firm where he has pursued his professional career since 1995, following a brief period at Arthur Andersen. He specializes in tax law, with an emphasis on family business.
Since 2007, he has been a part-time lecturer at Instituto Internacional San Telmo, where he teaches various subjects in the Intensive Business Administration Program (PIDE) as well as continuing education sessions for alumni.
He is a frequent speaker at seminars and conferences organized by the firm and by business associations, financial institutions and insurers.
He has solid experience in providing legal services to support building construction projects in Spain, as tax advisor and secretary of the board of construction companies and developers.
Member of the Seville Economists Association since 1995.
