Israel García is a partner in Garrigues’ Corporate Law and Commercial Contracts Department and has spent his professional career at the Firm.
He specializes in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, project and corporate finance, restructuring and refinancing, and has participated in numerous private equity deals within the Autonomous Community of Valencia in the food and agriculture, biopharmaceutical and aviation industries, among others. He also has wide-ranging experience in providing corporate law advice to multinational corporations and acts as board secretary and legal adviser to various companies.
He also has extensive expertise in energy law and practice, working in this field with numerous operators at all stages of the renewables value chain. By way of example, he regularly participates in the structuring, sale and purchase of renewable energy projects and facilities, both in Spain and abroad, turn-key construction contracts and operating & maintenance contracts, electricity transmission and trading contracts, and provides advice to equipment manufacturing and auxiliary industries, etc.

He currently coordinates and teaches classes on various Executive Master’s Degree Programs at Centro de Estudios Garrigues.
