Nicolás is a member of the FSI – Project Finance practice of the Bogotá office.
He focuses his practice on corporate finance and infrastructure and energy project finance, advising both domestic and international lenders and borrowers in financing transactions.
He holds a law degree from Universidad de los Andes (Colombia), where he served as a teaching assistant for the Legal Hermeneutics course and was a member of the Business and Entrepreneurship Legal Clinic, providing legal advice to small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as entrepreneurs, on corporate law matters.
Experience
He was part of the Commercial Proceedings Division of the Colombian Superintendency of Companies from September 2024 to January 2025.
He has been practicing at the firm since January 2025.
He advises domestic and international lenders and borrowers on the structuring and financing of energy and infrastructure projects, as well as on corporate financing transactions. In addition, he has experience providing legal advice in connection with international notes issuances.
