Nicolás Angulo is a principal associate of the Securities Market, Banking and Finance and Project Finance practices.

Nicolás has participated in the legal structuring of the financial closing of some infrastructure projects in Colombia. He also has experience advising local and international financial entities regarding public offerings, incorporations and operation authorization processes, and other contractual and regulatory matters related to financial entities and issuers of the capital market.

He also has provided advice to financial and real sector entities to structure and implement practices of good governance and system to manage the risk of money laundering and financing of terrorism.

Recently, he has advised multilateral institutions for the structuring of regulatory projects related to Fintech in Colombia.  

Nicolás participated in the program “Introduction to the International Practice of Business Law” in the Centro de Estudios Garrigues (Madrid, Spain).

Nicolás has a Degree in Law with a minor in “History and Economics” from Universidad de los Andes (2015) and a Specialization in Capital Markets and Financial Law from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (2017).
