Miriam Gabriel is a senior associate in Garrigues' Corporate/Commercial Law Department where she practices in the areas of Banking and Finance Law and Corporate Law and Commercial Contracts. She has extensive expertise advising local and international clients in financing transactions, and, in particular, in syndicated project financing, corporate lending and energy project finance transactions, as well as securitization transactions. Besides the above, she also provides recurring advisory services on corporate law and contractual elements to Spanish companies and international groups with presence in Spain. Experience
Miriam Gabriel joined Garrigues in 2016 and is a senior associate in the firm’s Corporate/Commercial Law Department where she practices in the areas of Banking and Finance Law and Corporate Law and Commercial Contracts.
Over the course of her professional career, she has advised local and international clients, financial institutions and borrowers, on bilateral and syndicated project financing, corporate lending and project transactions, leveraged finance, asset finance and restructuring transactions, areas in which she has extensive experience. She also provides recurring advice on project finance and, particularly, in the areas of public and energy infrastructure.
She has also assisted in securitization transactions, assisting with the design of the transaction structure, the set-up and registration of securitization funds of all kinds and of their managers, and the drafting and supervision of operating agreements.
Besides the above, she also provides recurring advisory services on corporate law and contractual elements to Spanish companies and international groups with presence in Spain.
Lastly, from January 2020 to April 2021, Miriam joined Garrigues' New York office, where she participated in numerous foreign law transactions with a Spanish component.
