Marina Rodríguez Rivas is a senior associate in the Corporate/Commercial Law Department of Garrigues, having joined the firm in 2010. In her professional practice, Marina regularly participates in highly complex transactions, including:
- Advising on numerous M&A processes, participating in transactions for the sale and purchase of businesses and assets, including due diligence reviews, and the negotiation and signature of all types of corporate and commercial documents.
- Corporate and project finance transactions, and financial restructuring processes.
- Reorganization of business groups, particularly in the area of family business.
- National and international commercial contracts.
Marina has extensive experience in advising family business groups based in Castilla y León, both in terms of recurring advice and advice on all aspects of the design and implementation of the legal instruments necessary for generational succession planning (including family protocols, shareholder agreements, contingency plans, succession planning, among others).
She has taught on the Master’s Degree in Legal Counseling offered by the School of Business of the Valladolid Chamber of Commerce.
