Prior to joining Garrigues, Mariana worked as an attorney at Estudio Muñiz and as a research assistant at the Scientific Research Institute (IDIC).

She is fluent in both Spanish and English.

Mariana graduated in law from the University of Lima, where she also specialized in Corporate Law.

She has completed the following courses:

• "Legal Tech & Startups" (online course by IE Business School via Coursera)
• "Blockchain Intelligence" (online course by the General Council of Spanish Lawyers and the Blockchain Intelligence Legal Institute)
• "American Contract Law I" (online course by Yale University via Coursera)
• "Deal Closing" (course by the Graduate School of PUCP)

Mariana is the Teaching Assistant for the Corporate Law II course and, previously, for the Guarantees course at the University of Lima

She is a member of the Lima Bar Association.

Mariana is a regular contributor to various legal publications and has participated as a speaker at several corporate law conferences and seminars.
