María del Carmen Díaz Herrera is a member of the dispute resolution and corporate and M&A practice at Garrigues Mexico.

She has experience in dispute resolution, primarily in commercial arbitration cases involving the construction industry, where she has been part of the team representing parties in disputes conducted in accordance with the institutional rules of CANACO and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).

In the corporate law arena, she advises domestic and international clients on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and internal restructuring processes. She has participated in the preparation and review of legal due diligence processes for companies and businesses, as well as in the drafting of sale and purchase agreements and of the corporate documentation required to implement such transactions.

She has also been involved in foreign investment transactions, handling the necessary clearances for the inflow of foreign capital into Mexican companies.
