Leire Eceiza is a senior associate of the corporate and commercial law practice at the Bilbao office and Data Protection Officer (DPO) certified according to the AEPD-DPD Scheme.
Her areas of expertise include privacy and information technology (IT) law, as well as corporate and commercial law.
She has broad experience in advising clients from a range of industries on privacy and data protection, IT, electronic commerce and cybersecurity, as well as negotiating and drafting agreements, particularly in the digital area.
Throughout her professional career, she has provided advice on the referred matters in several legal audits and compliance projects. She has also extensive experience in the management of sanctioning proceedings handled by the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
Additionally, she provides ongoing legal advice in commercial law, including corporate law, contracts and mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
