Julio Rodríguez López is a senior associate of the Corporate/Commercial Law practice in the Canary Islands (having joined the firm in 2009) since January 2016.

He has extensive experience in advising businesses on corporate and commercial transactions, particularly on the formation of companies, bylaw amendments, shareholders’ agreements, structural modification processes at commercial companies (mergers and acquisitions—in their various forms—, mergers, spin-offs, carve-outs, global transfers of assets and liabilities, etc.), civil and commercial contracts, real estate law, restructuring of business groups and family business matters.

He also has broad expertise in advising on corporate law matters,  advising on the management (or, if the case may be, acting as support) of the board of directors of several major companies in tehe Canary Islands, offering comprehensive advice to boards of directors.

Likewise, he has also participated in several transactions for the refinancing and restructuring of business group debt, the sale, purchase and constitution of real estate complexes. Likewise, he advises to large companies in the management of Shopping Centers as well as in drafting and negotiation of lease agreements.

He is fluent in Spanish (first lenguage) and English.

• Executive Master’s Degree in Business Law, Centro de Estudios Garrigues in collaboration with Harvard Law School.
