José Vicente Venegas is a lawyer in the EU & Antitrust Law area of Garrigues’ Santiago de Chile office. He advises companies on antitrust compliance matters, administrative proceedings before regulatory authorities, and litigation before the Chilean Antitrust Agency. He also has experience in dispute resolution. He is fluent in Spanish and English.
Experience
To date, José Vicente has focused his practice on the antitrust area, advising domestic and foreign companies from a range of industries on mergers and administrative proceedings before regulatory authorities. He also provides ongoing advisory services in relation to regulatory compliance, including the design, implementation and execution of antitrust compliance programs.
Prior to joining Garrigues, José Vicente was a lawyer at Barros Silva Varela & Vigil (2026). Previously, he had worked as an associate at Aylwin Matta (2024–2025) and as a paralegal at Centro de Libre Competencia CeCo (2021–2022).
He is fluent in Spanish and English.
