Jimena de la Calle Fernández is a lawyer specialized in corporate and commercial law, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and corporate governance.
She has experience in corporate matters, M&A transactions and internal restructuring processes, advising national and foreign clients in the industrial, automotive and technology sectors. She has participated in corporate acquisitions (share deals and asset deals), competitive processes and in the preparation and review of due diligence processes of companies and businesses.
She has also participated in the preparation, negotiation and execution of sale and purchase agreements, including the corporate documentation necessary for the implementation of transactions, and also on minutes of board meetings, powers of attorney and supplementary agreements. Her practice includes providing ongoing advice on corporate governance, corporate regularization and compliance with corporate obligations.
She has also participated in financial market transactions, working on the structure and documentation of complex financing operations and trusts.
She was chosen to take part in the internship program of the U.S. Mexico Foundation in Washington, D.C., where she gained experience in cross-border legal matters and the analysis of bilateral relations between Mexico and the United States.

Took part in in the U.S. Mexico Foundation’s internship program in Washington, D.C. where she gained experience in cross-border legal matters and deepened her knowledge of bilateral relations between Mexico and the United States, focusing on diplomacy and leadership.
