Jaime Olazábal is a partner in the Commercial and Real Estate Law practice.

He has extensive experience in both sale and purchase transactions and leasing of a wide range of properties, as well as in construction contracts, delegated development, acquisition of stakes in real estate companies, divestment processes, etc. He has advised national and international clients on the acquisition and sale of real estate assets of various types (hotel complexes, office buildings, industrial warehouses, shopping centres, residential developments, different types of land, etc.) and on the creation of various corporate structures (joint ventures) and financing transactions relating to investments in the real estate sector.

He also provides recurring advice to various Spanish financial institutions in the process of awarding real estate assets, as well as in the divestment processes of financial institutions in the real estate sector, including debt restructuring operations and dissolution and liquidation processes of real estate companies in which financial institutions have holdings.

He is a member of the Barcelona Bar Association.
