Gina Navarro is a senior associate in Garrigues' Intellectual Property Department, specialized in Intellectual Property, plant varieties, image rights, unfair competition and advertising. Gina Navarro is a senior associate in Garrigues' Intellectual Property Department, a firm she joined in 2016. Throughout her professional career, she has been involved in highly complex matters, including the following:
- Design of portfolio protection strategies in relation to the management and defence of trademark, patent, design and new technology rights.
- Management and direction of negotiations and advice on contractual matters in various sectors, with a particular focus on technology start-ups.
- Legal proceedings in connection with the infringement of plant variety rights, trademark rights, unfair competition and registered designs.
- Participation in due diligence processes.
In addition to Spanish and English, he is fluent in Italian.

- Law degree from the University of Alicante.
- LL.M. Magister Lvcentinvs, Master in Intellectual Property and Information Society, by the University of Alicante in collaboration with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
Teaching activity
Gina collaborates on a recurring basis with EUIPO by giving lectures in the 'EUIPO Trade Mark and Design Education Programme (ETMD EP)' on designs.
