Fernando Las Navas joined the firm in March 2020 and is a principal associate in the EU & Antitrust practice. Before joining Garrigues, Fernando worked for nine years in one of the Magic Circle firms in Madrid, including one year in Paris.
Fernando has extensive experience in Spanish and EU cases relating to cartels, anticompetitive conduct, and abuses of dominant position before the Spanish Competition Authority (CNMC) and the Spanish courts (National Appellate Court and Supreme Court). In addition, he has been involved in major international merger control cases before the European Commission, the CNMC and other competition authorities in a broad range of sectors and industries.
He is a member of the Madrid Bar Association and is an active member of the Spanish Association of Competition Law (AEDC).
