Beatriz Gimeno joined the Corporate team of the Madrid office in September 2013, where she has spent her entire professional career. Her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and private equity.

Within the M&A area, she advises on investment, divestment and joint venture transactions in Spanish and foreign companies in different sectors and industries, most notably for private equity funds, both national and international, but also for industrial operators and family groups.

She also provides recurring advice to Spanish companies or international groups with a presence in Spain on corporate and commercial contracting matters, as well as on corporate restructurings.

Throughout her professional career she has participated in numerous corporate transactions, and in very diverse economic sectors (including pharma, retail and agribusiness, among others), advising, from a commercial point of view, on each of the milestones and relevant contractual aspects of these types of transactions.

Beatriz also acts as secretary or vice-secretary for numerous Spanish companies.

• Degree in Law and Business Administration from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE).
• Additionally, she attended a Fall Semester at Washington College of Law, American University (Washington D.C., USA) in 2011, in the LL.M. in International Legal Studies program.
