Amaranta Chuquihuara is a senior associate in the Corporate Department at Garrigues, based in our Lima, Peru office. She has over 6 years of experience providing advice in the areas of banking and finance, mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, and corporate law. Amaranta holds a law degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (2019) and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Pennsylvania (2024). Experience
Amaranta joined the Corporate Department team at Garrigues in 2019 and has been a senior associate since 2025. She has advised local and international financial institutions, investors, and issuers of securities on financing transactions through debt instruments, as well as on syndicated bank loans, acquisition financing, infrastructure project financing, corporate restructuring operations, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions; both domestic and international. Additionally, she provides recurring contractual and corporate advice to companies in different industries.
She was a Visiting Attorney at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP (New York) (2024-2025).
