Álvaro is specialized in banking and finance matters, advising in all kinds of financing and refinancing transactions, both in the context of domestic and international transactions. He regularly advises both creditors (including financial institutions and funds) and debtors (including companies in various sectors of activity).

Álvaro has extensive experience in project finance, acquisition finance as well as in various types of structured financing. He also has experience in venture debt transactions with hybrid instruments that give access to share capital such as warrants.

In addition, he has a solid experience in contractual and corporate matters related to the development of all kinds of projects, providing recurring advice to developers and financial institutions in the context of such projects.

During 2023, Álvaro completed a secondment in the New York office of Garrigues, where additionally he participated in the commercial and relational tasks of the office.

Double Degree in Law and Business Administration at Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE E-3), having completed a semester in 2016 at Sogang University in Seoul (South Korea).
