Infrastructure Law Firm of the Year: Southern Cone, according to Latin Finance
Six deals advised on by Garrigues’ teams in Latin America were also winners
Garrigues has added another regional award to its collection after being named Infrastructure Law Firm of the Year: Southern Cone by financial publication Latin Finance at the Project & Infrastructure Finance Awards, which recognize the best Latin American projects and finance deals in the infrastructure sector. Six financing deals advised on by Garrigues, in the specific areas of social infrastructure, digital infrastructure and telecoms, energy and ports, were also winners.
This award recognizes Garrigues’ regional capacity in Latin America, which covers the Pacific Alliance countries and constitutes one of the largest direct presences in the legal services market. The accolade acknowledges the work of the firm as a whole on large infrastructure projects and its experience as a legal adviser on major financing and M&A deals.
In addition to this award, six deals on which Garrigues acted as adviser were also named as the best in Latin America in their respective categories: Electric Bus (Social Infrastructure Financing of the Year); Autopista del Norte, in Peru (Infrastructure Financing of the Year: Andes); EnfraGen, in Chile (Infrastructure Financing of the Year: Latin America and Renewable Energy Financing of the Year ); Empresa de los Ferrocarriles del Estado, in Chile (Infrastructure Financing of the Year: Southern Cone); Salaverry, in Peru (Port Financing of the Year); and ATP, in Colombia (Digital Infrastructure/Telecoms Financing of the Year).
