Pablo Egerique is a counsel in the Administrative Law and Zoning and Planning Department of Garrigues, which he joined in 2000 (Galicia office – La Coruña and Vigo).
He has broad experience in public sector contracts, advising both public entities and private companies in this area, and has amassed a wealth of expertise in assisting public companies and foundations.
He is the adviser of choice for companies operating in regulated sectors, particularly the mining, telecommunications, and health and social care sectors, and plays an active role in providing expert advice to infrastructure projects (toll road concession-holders; companies engaged in building and operating waste water treatment plants etc.), energy projects and port-related projects (port operators, concession-holders, shipyards).
He has taken part in numerous due diligence processes analyzing the situation of companies from an administrative law standpoint, serving as coordinator and director of corporate legal teams in the various areas of the law.
He directs strategy with regard to administrative appeals, penalty proceedings and steps relating to administrative practice in the area of grants and condemnation proceedings. He also serves as legal counsel, managing judicial review proceedings at all instances.
He is an active contributor in the area of public contracts to various courses, such as the Master’s Degree in Business Law at Universidad de Vigo, and he has spoken at various seminars relevant to his areas of expertise.
Pablo is a member of the Vigo Bar Association.
