Ángel Piñeiro is the partner in charge of the Litigation Department in Galicia and the coordinator and head of the Litigation, Insolvency Law, Corporate/Commercial Law, Labor and Employment Law Departments and Sports & Entertainment area of the Vigo office.
From 1992 to 1998, he worked at several law firms in Vigo until he joined what was then Garrigues Andersen in 1998. He was promoted to partner in 2003 and currently holds the above positions.
He is a non-director secretary on several Boards of Directors of prestigious companies, and has acted in this capacity in the past at Real Club Celta de Vigo, S.A.D. He forms part of the Governing Board of the Vigo Bar Association of which he has been a member since 1991.
He forms part of the restructuring and insolvency team and regularly participates as speaker at seminars and conferences held by the Firm, at the Confederation of Employers of Galicia and at the Chamber of Commerce of Vigo. He also participates in courses and seminars on different topical issues in the legal field, in particular, on restructuring and insolvency, sports law, civil procedural law and criminal law.
