IFLR1000, the guide to the leading financial and corporate law firms in 235 jurisdictions around the world, ranks Garrigues as a firm of reference in Spain. In its 32nd edition, the directory ranked our firm as Tier 1 in the eight corporate law service lines analyzed in Spain: Restructuring & Insolvency, Project Finance, Capital Markets – Debt, Capital Markets – Securitisation, Capital Markets –Equity, Banking, M&A and Project Development. Garrigues is the only firm named Tier 1 in all the capital markets categories.
In addition, IFLR1000 cites 49 professionals from Garrigues’ various offices as leading lawyers, five more than in the previous year. The firm also maintains its rankings through its offices in Colombia, Chile, Peru, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, China and Morocco.
In preparing these rankings, IFLR draws from interviews with clients and lawyers, as well as an analysis of the deals carried out in the past 12 months.
