Experience
Stefan Jiménez is an associate in the Labor and Employment practice. He has successfully handled various matters relating to social security and immigration, achieving favorable results for his clients. His most notable achievements include securing a favorable ruling for a foreign client enabling him to obtain a refund of social security contributions, setting an important precedent so that other foreigners can claim for refunds of their contributions.
He also obtained protection from the federal courts against the INM (National Immigration Institute), getting the Institute to reopen the window for incomplete procedures, a significant step forward for administrative processes in this area.
He has obtained numerous favorable rulings in immigration procedures, achieving the objectives set by his clients and ensuring the regularization of their situation in the country. He also successfully assisted a Venezuelan citizen in being recognized as a refugee by the COMAR (Mexican Refugee Assistance Commission), which enabled him to obtain permanent residency in Mexico.
