Sebastián Stipo is an associate in the Administrative and Constitutional Law area of Garrigues’ Santiago de Chile office. His practice focuses on handling and managing administrative proceedings in general and environmental proceedings. He advises clients on public, regulatory and environmental law matters and has experience in proceedings before the National Cybersecurity Agency, the Public Health Institute and the Directorate-General of Civil Aviation, among other regulatory bodies. He has postgraduate training in administrative law, specializing in environmental law and land use planning, having earned his undergraduate degree with academic distinction.
Experience
He has experience in administrative, regulatory and environmental law matters, advising companies in the health, forestry, energy, real estate, aquaculture, water and telecommunications industries, among others. His practice has focused on administrative and penalty proceedings, the drafting of legal reports, providing advice on environmental matters and the environmental impact assessment system and on the representation of clients before public bodies and the environmental, civil and specialized high courts.
Before joining Garrigues, Sebastián was an associate at Barros Silva Varela & Vigil (2022–2026), where he started his professional career.
He is fluent in Spanish and English.
