Roberto Garcia Polo is a Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution: Litigation and Arbitration department, providing consultancy on compliance matters (Corporate Compliance). He is also a member of the Corporate Governance and Corporate Responsibility Industry at Garrigues.
With a technical background (Chemical Sciences, member no. 7,535 of the Official Association of Chemists of Madrid), he has extensive experience in advising organisations, especially in the private sector, on regulatory compliance, sustainability and corporate responsibility.
In recent years, he has devoted himself almost exclusively to defining and implementing regulatory compliance models and crime prevention programs, expanding and complementing the work of the legal professionals on the teams that Garrigues puts together to offer this particular advisory service to its clients.
He is also a collaborating lecturer at Centro de Estudios Garrigues in its training courses on regulatory compliance.

Roberto García Polo is a senior associate in the Litigation & Arbitration practice and a member of Garrigues’ Corporate Governance and Corporate Responsibility industry group, and currently focuses on corporate compliance consulting services.
Coming from a technical background (chemistry degree, member no. 7,535 of the Madrid Chemists Association), he has extensive experience dating back to 1999 in advising industrial and services companies on sustainability and corporate social responsibility matters, particularly in relation to defining and implementing regulatory compliance models and corporate compliance programs.
His technical training and broad expertise in consulting projects across different industries complements the legal side of corporate compliance, enabling him to offer vital added value to clients in ensuring the proper adaptation and effectiveness of their compliance models.
He has also been a lecturer at Centro de Estudios Garrigues since 2017, providing training sessions on regulatory compliance management.
