Paulina Painequeo is a lawyer in the Planning, Zoning and Environment area of Garrigues’ Santiago de Chile office. Her practice focuses on handling administrative and judicial proceedings on environmental matters and providing advisory services in relation to compliance with environmental and industry-specific legislation.
Experience
She has extensive experience in providing comprehensive labor law advice to domestic and multinational companies, including the management of labor relations, hiring processes, terminations, the design and implementation of internal policies and compensation Her practice centers on providing support on a wide range of projects during the conduct of administrative proceedings before the Environmental Impact Assessment Service and other governmental agencies, as well as on proceedings before the environmental courts. She also provides advice on compliance with environmental and industry-specific legislation and on the drafting of reports on the environmental institutional and regulatory framework.
Before joining Garrigues, Paulina was a lawyer at Barros Silva Varela & Vigil (2025–2026), which she joined at the beginning of her professional career and where she also worked as a paralegal in the Public Law, Environmental Law and regulatory areas (2022–2024). She was formerly a trainee in the Environmental Unit of the National Defense Council (2023) and completed an international exchange in Environmental Law at Universidad Nacional del Litoral, Argentina (2022).
She is fluent in Spanish and English.
