María Soledad Soláns de las Rivas is a principal associate in the Tax Law practice area.
She has extensive experience in the provision of tax advisory services to businesses, providing advice on an ongoing basis in the areas of general direct taxation (corporate income tax, the personal taxation of shareholders, etc.) and indirect taxation (IVA, ITP-AJD), as well as in relation to tax proceedings and business reorganizations. Mention should be made in particular, in addition to her work for commercial enterprises, to her special relation with the co-operative world and not-for profit entities.
She belongs to the Firm's international business area and has ample experience in international projects, advising both Spanish clients in their international expansion processes and foreign clients with interests in Spain.
She has spoken at a number of forums and symposiums on questions of business taxation (transfer pricing, flexible compensation schemes, expatriate regimes, etc.).
