María José Cristi Larraín is an associate in the Labor Department of Garrigues, where she has been working since 2021.

She specializes in labor law, social security and immigration. Her practice includes advising local and multinational clients on corporate labor matters such as hiring employees, benefits, obtaining immigration permits, contract terminations, labor matters associated with M&A transactions, among others. She also focuses on the conduct and preparation of labor litigation.

She studied law at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. In addition, between August 2025 and June 2026, she pursued an LLM in labor law and relations at The University of Sydney, Australia.
