
María José Coronel began her professional career in 2012, with the dissolution of Luz y Fuerza del Centro as legal representative of the Mexican Asset Management and Disposal Service (SAE), a decentralized body of the Federal Public Administration. She subsequently began to practice labor litigation at top-tier Mexican law firms, where she was in charge of national and international client accounts, specializing mainly in labor litigation and consulting, having offered an integral labor law approach for around seven years.

She has solid experience in conducting procedures and representing clients before the Mexican labor authorities, including the labor tribunals of the federal and local courts, conciliation and arbitration courts, the Federal Conciliation and Labor Registration Center (CFCRL), the Federal Labor Ombudsman (PROFEDET), the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare (STPS), the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) and INFONAVIT.
María José is an expert in labor due diligence, regulatory compliance and strategies for the resolution of individual and collective disputes, as well as in defending clients in labor litigation. She focuses on providing efficient legal solutions aligned with business interests.
