Marco Luna is a principal associate in the Dispute Resolution: Litigation and Arbitration area at Garrigues’ Santiago de Chile office. His practice is focused on civil and commercial litigation, national and international arbitration, and administrative litigation, with a particular emphasis on advising and representing domestic and international clients before ordinary, special and arbitration courts. He also has extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution mechanisms and in-court and out-of-court negotiations in sectors such as energy, mining, automotive, real estate and natural resources.
Experience
Marco has extensive experience as a litigation lawyer and adviser on a range of matters, having specialized in civil and commercial litigation, domestic and international arbitration, and administrative litigation.
Throughout his career, he has built a strong practice across multiple industries, including energy, mining, automotive, real estate and natural resources, representing domestic and foreign clients before ordinary, special and arbitration courts in civil, commercial, and administrative matters. He also has significant experience in alternative dispute resolution mechanisms and procedures and negotiations both in and out of court.
Before joining Garrigues, he was the area director of Litigation and Arbitration at Barros Silva Varela & Vigil (2026), where previously he had worked as a senior associate (2020–2025), associate (2016–2020) and paralegal (2013–2015).
He is fluent in Spanish and English.
