Makarena Faúndez Amigo is an associate in the Santiago office. Her practice focuses on banking and financial regulation, domestic and international bond issuances, corporate finance, and project finance. She advises domestic and international lenders and borrowers on the structuring and financing of energy and infrastructure projects, as well as acquisition finance transactions.

She holds a Law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and completed an academic exchange semester at the Universitat Autonoma of Barcelona, Spain.

In the academic field, she worked as a teaching assistant in Constitutional Law and as an examiner for the degree examination at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in the areas of Civil Law, Civil Procedure, and Public International Law.
