Luis Durán Fernández has a degree in Business Administration from Universidad Pablo de Olavide (Sevilla). He has an MBA from Instituto Internacional San Telmo.
He is a member of the Sevilla Economists’ Association. He is specialized in tax law, transfer pricing, comprehensive tax advisory and planning. Luis also specializes in business restructuring transactions, tax incentives for R&D&i and compliance with transfer pricing valuation, reporting and documentation obligations. He has published articles related to taxation and new developments in the transfer pricing area. He has lectures on tax and accounting courses organized by the Firm and as a guest at sessions organized by third parties.
Experience
Luis has been a principal associate of the Tax department of Garrigues (Seville office) since 2022. He joined the firm in 2005.
He has extensive experience in general tax advisory, comprehensive advisory and planning.
He provides ongoing advice in the design, coordination and execution of business restructuring transactions (mergers, divisions, etc.), in inspections by the tax authorities and in the design of the transfer pricing policy of business groups.
He participates as a volunteer at the Cardenal Spínola Foundation for the Fight against Unemployment.
