Luis David Olivares is an associate in the Dispute Resolution: Litigation and Arbitration area at Garrigues’ Santiago de Chile office. His practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation and arbitration, with a particular emphasis on civil liability, breach of contract, construction and real estate disputes, as well as insolvency and restructuring. He also has experience in administrative litigation. Before joining Garrigues, he worked as a litigation lawyer at specialized law firms and in the public sector.

Before joining Garrigues, he was an associate at Barros Silva Varela & Vigil (2023–2026), where he belonged to the Litigation and Arbitration team. Previously, he had worked in the teams at Estudio Correa & Cía. (2021–2023) and SEREMI de Salud Metropolitana (2021). He began his professional career as a paralegal at Philippi, Prietocarrizosa, Ferrero, DU & Uría (2016–2018).
