Julia Silva has been a senior associate in the Labor and Employment practice at the Seville office since 2022 and joined Garrigues in 2017. Over her professional career, she has participated in a range of engagements, including:

• Lawsuits involving collective restructuring processes, collective disputes, senior management, dismissals, lawsuits relating to recognition of the employment relationship of self-employed workers, unlawful loaning of workers, etc.
• Due diligence reviews.
• Preparation and negotiation of Equality Plans.
• Negotiation of collective labor agreements and collective restructuring procedures (collective layoffs, suspension of contracts and reductions in working hours).
• Advice in labor inspections, procedures for nonjudicial resolution of collective conflicts (SERCLA) and mediation, arbitration and conciliation (CMAC).
• Advice on and challenge of notices of infringement and assessments issued by the labor and social security inspection authorities.
• Comprehensive advice to businesses on labor law and social security matters.

She also has extensive experience in labor litigation and in labor-related proceedings in the judicial review jurisdiction.

She is a collaborator teacher at the Universidad de Sevilla (labor and employment litigation practice).
